Burnley U18s 3 - 1 Everton U18s

Everton U18s first Premier League Cup game kicks off this morning at 11:00 BST, with the young Blues visiting The Barnfield Training Centre in Burnley.

Imam Jagne is back in action for Everton, with Kitia Kouyate returning from injury to make his first appearance this season. However, the Blues centre-forward showed a little rustiness perhaps, smashing a penalty for Everton over the bar with 9 minutes gone.

Everton then gave up a goal to the home side on 19 minutes, and that's how it stayed until half-time. Burnley went further ahead but on 56 minutes but Everton responded immediately with a goal from Issac Heath.

However, Burnley would go further ahead after 72 minutes to wrap up the game.

Everton U18s: Stewart, Wright (62' Coughlan), Jones (88' Apter), Tierney, Samuels-Smith, Jagne, Metcalfe, Baker, Heath, Kouyate (46' Sherif), Lawrence.
Subs not Used: Graham.
