I'd like to meet up. I've said before on a previous occasion, I will buy the first 10 TWers a beer that I meet.
I've been on TW many years now (shocking). There's many, many people I'd truly enjoy meeting. If you're going to the game and would like to grab "a pint" (read, a beer) then please do hit me up.
My wife (Burnley fan… seriously WTF?), my 17-year-old (who knows zilch about Everton) and my 12-year-old (who adores Everton and is a gigantic, outspoken, opinionated fan) will all be there. If you're in the mood, say hello to 4/7ths of the Crowley Clan.
Hit me up at Jamie dot Crowley dot Personal at gmail dot com.
I sincerely hope to connect with some of you.

If you were offering to buy the first T'Webber you meet 10 pints...you might get a better response!

After long deliberation with my wife, and the promoters of Florida Cup announcing they will refund all ticket sales and sell tickets to the Sunday game for $20 General Admission, we've decided to go.
We considered cancelling and frankly were about to, but for the price considering how badly my 12 year old wants to See Everton live, we're just gonna do it.
Thank you to all of you who reached out. Most have cancelled the trip and I don't blame you. It'll be nothing more than a preseason run out, and not the "event" it was supposed to be.
If anyone is still going and would like to meet up, please do reach out.

This will be your first chance to see the Blues live and in person, I believe? I predict that after 90 minutes you will be overcome (as I was in 2013 in San Francisco) by the overwhelming urge to go see 'em at Goodison.
Have a blast on Sunday.

I saw Everton in Miami under Roberto. Hung in the parking lot with a group of Blues. Saw Pienaar and Felliani get off the bus. Watch Seamus ply his trade up and down the right hand side.
Met my friend Steve Ashcroft there with some of my boys and one of his. Good day.

At half-time the TW guy said 'You seem to know a lot about football and about the team?' The 'supporter' said; 'Yeah, I used to play for them, I'm Joe-Max Moore'.

If you ever do get over to watch a game at Goodison Park let me know in advance and I should be able to sort a couple of tickets for you. Enjoy your time in Orlando and have a cold one for me.

Good luck at the game. Hope you enjoy it.

Jay Harris mate - immensely looking forward to seeing and meeting you.
I understand, very recently, there is an event at the Celt & Harp on Saturday evening? We're arriving in Orlando around 6-ish, and I wasn't going to bother going as I've been traveling like nuts since June 1st. But I'll check with the wife and see if we can't rally and get there.
Cheers to all who have reached out.
P.S. - It's been a hell of a few busy months. Personally and professionally. I'll probably be "letting loose" a bit on Sunday. Nothing crazy, but if I seem happy, know it's meeting fellow TWers and not the beer. 😜

Just spoke with the wife. We will arrive at the Harp & Celt Pub around 8 p.m. on Saturday evening. I look forward to meeting anyone who goes to the pub that evening, hopefully some folks will still be there throwing a few back.

The meeting of the ToffeeWeb should linger long as the glue that keeps us poor Evertonians sane! A few years back, when in Brisbane's Pig & Whistle in Eagle Street, after watching Everton take on Brisbane Roar, I was waylaid by a group of seven or eight Evertonians / ToffeeWebbers from all over, a mix of expats and locals, who proceeded to get me absolutely destroyed... it was quite a highlight of my Australian adventure. So I am sure, no matter who plays, the trip will be worth it!
Trips like this often pose the question "Who would I like to meet?" You and Mrs C are on my list, Jamie, I know what her life must be like! Have fun and enjoy!

I've not received an email from you. I will reach out.
Was at the Harp & Celt last night. Never seen so many Blues crammed into one small place in my life! Had a lot of fun. Place was so crowded we didn't meet anyone - it was like controlled chaos, but was brilliant.
Met the head of the Orlando supporters group briefly as we left. Super nice fella, Alex [last name escapes me, 4-5 beers in, so...]. His wife and my wife were chatty and hit it off as they are both from Detroit.
The Club gave out a lot of swag. My 12 year old was thrilled to get a cap and a cinch pack. :0)
Never, ever heard the chant Kopites are Gob**ites and laughed my ass off at that one.
Finally, there were a LOT of American Blues. That stunned me. Many had spouses who were from Liverpool and had been born Blue through marriage. Really shocked me to hear a lot of American accents.
Christine - I'd pay money for you to meet the wife. ;0)
Looking forward to the game today!
Cheers to all.
EDIT - Lyndon just sent email. If you don't get it, I'll post my cell as well here.

I'm planning to visit my house late October (flights booked), so will at some point need somewhere to watch Everton. Be great to do that with fellow blues and meet some of you!

I told the wife last night, and mentioned to another Blue via email today -
I could so, so easily drop into the life of working all week and looking forward to hitting the pub on game days on the weekend, going to the game, and then returning post-game to the pub. The spirt at the Harp & Celt was infectious and wonderful.
If I went to Liverpool, I'd probably never return.

If it was just all about the football it would become very boring, and its probably why Evertons away support is amongst the finest in the country, so enjoy the game Jamie, and also the rest of your weekend!
37 Posted 25/07/2021 at 16:19:15
Hoping to meet up with Lyndon and Jamie and hopefully the legend that is Dr France.
Report back after the game assuming I'm still standing. Its gonna be hot and wet.
Im getting excited it feels just like going to Goodison on a matchday its so long since Ive been back.
38 Posted 25/07/2021 at 16:19:21
But not as much fun as the Midland or the Winslow on a game day... trust me, you need to get over there and meet the gang.

Honestly you hit it spot on. Last night I was SO happy to have decided to make the trip. The "experience" really is equal to the footy, seeing it in person.
Jay and Kristian -
Kristian I received your email. Looking forward to it. We'll see you both in a few hours. I'm off to the pool here to go straight "Vaca" and start greasing the wheels! 😜. Lot 11, 3pm.

I remember Martinez, first season, it was an away game at Swansea, when Ross Barkley scored the winner, and that was the last time I was actually excited that I was going to watch Everton, when it finally looked like we were developing into a genuine football team, before it became yet another false dawn.
