Everton U17s lose to Man Utd in Premier League Cup

Man Utd U17s 3 - 2 Everton U17s

Their second game in the group stage of this season's revamped Premier League Cup saw Everton U17s fall to a 3-2 defeat at the hands of Manchester United.

No match details are available but the scorers where Katia Kouyate and Luke Butterfield. Everton still lead the group on goal difference thanks to their victory over Burnley in the first round of group games.

Probable Everton U17s line-up: Stewart, Campbell, Lowey, Higgins, Small, Welch, Price, Butterfield, Warrington, Whitaker, Kouyate.

This from Man Utd Twitter, hope it's allowed.... my computer skills won't let me copy it properly. It shows our scorers were Katia Kouyate and Luke Butterfield.

All four teams have won one, lost one so all have 3 points, and we are top on goal difference. Two games to play in January, Everton v Wigan, Burnley v Man Utd. Winner of group progresses to quarter finals plus one best runner up.

Phill, yes those were the two goal scorers the other night, confirmed on the night by Ring master on grandoldteam, he’s a fund of information about youth team games. By the way Phill, Ring master is not you under a different alias on grandoldteam is it?

Dave no not me mate, I know his proper name from twitter , he does a huge amount of trawling twitter for info and sharing it. GOT also has a Club insider , not me!, who doesn’t post a lot but has info few others have. Information from all sources is always very useful as we get little at u18 level from the Club, then it’s down to giving different views/opinions.

Phill (3), thanks. Yes all information is useful, as you say we get next to nothing from the club. Ringmaster shares all his news on GOT, minute by minute when games are on.
