BBC to carry cup derby live

Everton's FA Cup Third Round tie at Anfield will be broadcast live on BBC One on Sunday 5th January.

The second clash in the cup between Liverpool and the Blues in three years will kick off at 4:01pm.

The BBC follows Liverpool without fail every year in the FA Cup. No doubt Pickford will have his usual Anfield game for the television masses.

I fancy if this debacle carries on much longer, there will be Blues in record numbers sectioned under the Mental Health Act.

I've already come up with a week-long marketing plan, Michael (with apologies to those of a sensitive nature. I genuinely, but genuinely do take mental health issues seriously):

Manic Monday
Tourettes Tuesday
Well-being Wednesday
Therapy Thursday
Frantic Friday
Self-harm Saturday (on the eve of the game, once again deluding ourselves that 'THIS' is the game we finally win at Anfield)
Suicidal Sunday (by the way we'll play and how we'll feel long before the final whistle)

Can you guess I'm just desperately waiting to see the flashing 'Breaking News' story out of Finch Farm.

Sunday 5th January. Same date we played the RS the other year in the cup (Friday 5th January) when we lost 2-1. The BBC looking at lucky omens for their darling team?

Maybe because I'm of a certain age that can remember derby victories, but I think we'll be in Round 4. That minute's silence should be for me really!

Already looking forward to it, COYB!!!

I thought if our defence the other day was more adapted to fast attacking opponents and one or two of our big chances went in, it woulda looked lotta different. Of course the reds had a couple of big chances that didn't go in, but put my first point in consideration. Half the team was Liverpool B team, coulda gone away with something, anyways, good luck to whoever the next manager to sort it out from back to front.

FFS I was sure this was going to be on BT Sport so I added that package to my Sky. I think I'll cancel it till next season.

I am actually looking forward to Big Dunc being in charge for that game. It will be a real derby then, anything could happen.
