Under-18s hammered at Stoke
Stoke City U18s 5 - 1 Everton U18s
Everton Under-18s fell to a 5-1 defeat against Stoke City at Clayton Wood on Saturday.
In-form Everton forward Tom Cannon put the young Blues ahead 11 minutes in but Mohamed Sankho's equaliser meant the teams went in level at half-time.
A clinical Stoke team side added four further goals in the second half. The result means the Toffees slip to 4th in the U18 Premier League (North) table.
Everton U18s: Barrett, Hosie, Lowey [Y:75'] (76' Jon Anderson), Welch, Thompson, Hughes (71' Higgins), Quir, Onyango, Cannon, Hunt (62' McAllister [Y:75']), Dobbin.
Subs not Used: McIntyre, Hagan.
