Alex Iwobi's movement and link play essential to Arsenal's rebuilding process

Strange article, tough to judge, but if two full backs like Iwobi infront of them then it can only be a good thing.

Really interesting article, and illustrates what used to be called 'the footballer's footballer', a player crucial to the gelling of a team without necessarily showcasing individually.

In terms of Iwobi being an 'enabler of overlapping fullbacks', his presence could prove very exciting given the qualities of our fullbacks.

I know it has been said many times, for the overlaps to work Coleman will need to rediscover how to cross -

I think he will, last season he got steadily better and we saw glimpses of the old player we loved

Pat K, I thought that initially, and then I thought traditionally Arsenal have been quite astute and frugal in the Transfer Market pre-Emery (Unai not Dick) and since he has arrived, especially this window they seem to have gone apeshit with the Wonga.

I think, or would like to think, that someone has reeled in the spending, albeit too late, and reluctantly knowing we had an interest in Iwobi, has decided let's recoup as much as we can.

"You're a very naughty boy Unai, our share-holders have all defecated their pants thinking their dividends will be near to zilch if we don't do something about it".

I must admit Alex Iwobi took me surprise, but I think in the end he will prove to be a decent acquisition, is young hopefully will get even better, and come back to haunt the Arse.

A lot of people , including a lot of Arsenal fans, don't understand why Iwobi was sold. I myself can't believe it. Brands has really pulled this one off.

The article gives a true reflection of his importance to Arsenal. In a comparison on Planet Soccer with Zaha, Iwobi has really good stats, which are reflected in the article.
