Korede Adedoyin is next to sign new contract

Everton U18 winger Korede Adedoyin has signed his first professional contract for the club. Adedoyin was offered a new deal at the end of last season after helping Everton finish third in the U18 Premier League, scoring 11 goals in 17 matches.
In his first words after penning the new contract, he said: "I'm so happy to sign this contract. I am very grateful to all the Academy coaches who have helped me become who I am today. The likes of Sean Lundon, Paul Tait and Keith Southern have been fantastic for me.
"Everton has helped me a lot not just on the pitch, but off the pitch, too.
Now, I just want to repay the belief they have shown in me, work as hard as I can and continue to progress."
Lagos-born Adedoyin has committed his international future to Nigeria and trained with the Flying Eagles in Germany ahead of the 2019 FIFA U20 World Cup.

This kid hasn't massively been on my radar but 11 goals in 18 games for a winger is pretty good.
Taking the time to thank his coaches and the allusion to help "off the pitch" adds a touch of class.

Peter, he's played centrally for most of the season, just behind Simms. The two of them ran riot in the first two thirds of the season. This kid looks the business, he just needs to avoid the form dip he had in the last third. He's rapid and knows where the net is. He has shown enough to be excited that he can develop into a first teamer.

I don't recall him making the u23 bench, let alone make an appearence so somewhat taken aback by claims he's wanted on loan by several senior clubs in Scotland.

How long is the contract for, one or two years?Adedoyin needs to add a great deal of work rate to his undoubted skill, seems to lose interest very early in a lot of games for me, you wonder with some of these young players if they take a lot of notice to what they are being taught, or maybe the coaches are not bollicking them enough.
