Could Sevilla boss enter the equation to replace Martinez?

Fresh from his third successive Europa League triumph, Unai Emery is being talked about more and more in terms of managerial vacancies and a tweet by The Times's Rory Smith suggests he would consider speaking to Everton.

Emery guided Sevilla to their fifth European trophy in 11 years as they overcame a 1-0 half-time deficit to shatter Liverpool's dreams in Basel last night, adding another achievement to the Spaniard's CV.

He steered Los Rojiblancos to a seventh-place finish in La Liga this season but has drawn criticism for the fact that his team failed to win an away match all season.

It's the 44-year-old's cup achievements that are raising his profile, however, and while it's not known if the Everton board are considering him. Smith's tweet claims he would be "more than willing" to speak to the Goodison hierarchy.
