The KD was a massive missed opportunity that still depresses many - including me. Don't miss out on this one.
We have large funds coming in from the PL and a new owner - and the dockside location is a cash cow if executed correctly.
I'd be quite happy with a multi-purpose stadium - athletics and boxing, MMA and music if they like - as long as it was recognised primarily (99%) as the Home of the Blues. Even dressage events would be fine with me as long as any horse shit could be dumped in the Anfield area (as an improvement project though we'd have to highlight to our loveable neighbours that it's not for consumption).
Project Jennifer is a pain in the butt currently - but already shows that infrastructure is being improved north of the city centre. A dockside location allows for road, rail and boat access - park and ride could be easily facilitated.
I'd prefer a redeveloped GP to Crocky (the thought of which just depresses me as it sidelines the Club even further from the heart of the city).
Let's hope EFC think big.
Nil Satis and all that.
