Jones's departure part of backroom shake-up

As Everton search for Martinez's successor, the now former manager's coaches Dennis Lawrence and Iñaki Bergara will also be leaving the club along with his chief scout Kevin Reeves.
Jones, Bergara and Reeves all came with Martinez from Wigan Athletic with Lawrence coming on board later.

The Club should immediately cancel all holidays for the wasters wearing - falsely - our shirt.
The only players allowed out should be those wasters picked for the Euros, and that should NOT include any of our England contingent.
Tomorrow morning they should bring in half a dozen ex PTIs from the Army and spend the close season getting our wasters fit !
We may not win any games next season but at least we'll be able to run about for more than 30 minutes !

Brought nothing to the role and has been stealing a living off EFC in my opinion.
28 Posted 12/05/2016 at 19:45:33
Had each other by the throat Dunc and Barry split them up so Ive been told

I thought Kevin Reeves did a decent job but he's definitely blotted his copy book if he was the guy who did the background work on the Niasse deal.

The manager has gone, as has his Bully Boy Jones (Alan at 20 I also saw the wanker giggling away last night). Ross, new season. Already looking forward to seeing you play in a team managed properly and with some fresh talent.
38 Posted 12/05/2016 at 20:18:04
How on earth could such tripe make on to our coaching staff.

40 Posted 12/05/2016 at 20:19:01
How the fuck did we end up with Martinez & his shite backroom staff?
Kenwright now must follow this summer followed by the car salesman Elstone.
"what a chairman" fuck me!
41 Posted 12/05/2016 at 20:22:33
David Unsworth has done a very good job with the U21's so this is a pat on the back for him and hopefully whoever comes in as manager leaves Unsworth in that role, at least.
42 Posted 12/05/2016 at 20:29:32
I totally agree re Duncan's role at the club. A token gesture appointment by RM.
I always had the feeling that Duncan had no say in 1st teams affairs at all.

46 Posted 12/05/2016 at 21:17:19
Why the downer on Ferguson...........like the players He has done what he has been told by Martinez. You have no idea what has gone on behind the scenes. Like most of us Ferguson has to earn a living so unless you can prove what you are saying why not give him a break!!!
47 Posted 12/05/2016 at 21:20:51
48 Posted 12/05/2016 at 21:21:34
A full Wiganectomy by the sounds of it.
Excellent
50 Posted 12/05/2016 at 21:26:24
For probably the first time this season I am looking forwards to going to Goodison on Sunday!

54 Posted 12/05/2016 at 22:05:31
I wouldn't expect Duncan to knock the job back, it's just that Martinez gave him the job but he didn't ask him to do anything significant with the first team squad.Like you said Rob, Duncan just did what he was asked to do, which wasn't much, so as I said it was purely cosmetic.
56 Posted 12/05/2016 at 22:11:45
Some good has come out of this. I believe Moshiri will have realized how little about football Kenwright actually knows, and will thus value his opinion proportionately moving forward. As anybody in business knows, the right decision is the right decision, and the only thing that cocks up that is not making it. Kenwrights theater background has given him a unique skill set for Everton Chairman, but as is obvious making good business decisions isn't a quality he possesses.
57 Posted 12/05/2016 at 22:18:31
Just pray for a decent Manager next season, and some decent signings.
59 Posted 12/05/2016 at 22:31:10
I am really looking forward to the summer now. At least ten players should be shown the door.
I hope we go all out for Koeman, De Boer would be my second choice.

62 Posted 12/05/2016 at 23:29:52
Rest of them should be shown the door or sold.

If the Admiral and Commordore get the next appointment wrong then Carry On Cruising 2 may be released in August 2016.

66 Posted 13/05/2016 at 03:42:19
I have nothing at all against the big man,it's just my gut feeling that since being given the role,it was just a token gesture by RM?
I see the club have put David Unsworth & Joe Royle in charge of the 1st team for Sunday's game, big Duncan did not get a mention in the article?
As I say Rob,it's just my opinion.
67 Posted 13/05/2016 at 03:53:13
Yeah the guy is called Dr Peter Vint. I'm sure Unsworth has broken in and entered his room with a towel full of dry soap bars to deliver justice the minute it was "breaking news" on the OS

Ferguson seems to have escaped the cull for the moment. Whether that is good or bad I don't know. If he has something to offer then keep him on but if it just for old times sake then get rid.

81 Posted 13/05/2016 at 17:02:04
If we see him on the touchline screaming at players, that will be another question answered especially after his testimonial address. I was expecting so much more from him this season.
He's deffo another who's needing to show a new manager that he's got something worth keeping.
82 Posted 13/05/2016 at 17:14:57
Personally, I am of the opinion we might find some of the players on your list that you have marked down as GO will perform better with a change in coaching.

Apologies,I did not see the press conference.
It will be an interesting summer at Everton with many comings & goings.
I hope the big man can show his credentials to the new boss.failing that maybe el loco will give him a job at his new club.
86 Posted 13/05/2016 at 19:01:09
Maybe Duncan wasn't allowed to show a bit of "touch line" passion under RM!!
