Under-18s edge seven-goal thriller

The Young Blues needed a win to remain in the hunt for the U18 Premier League title but were 2-0 behind with just 21 minutes gone to goals by Daniel Kemp and Anthony Scully for the visitors.
Lavery halved the deficit, however, 10 minutes later and Nathan Broadhead scored on the stroke to half time to tie the game.
A Broadhead penalty early in the second period had Kevin Sheedy's 3-2 up but Callum Lees put through his own goal to make it 3-3 after 65 minutes.
Lavery came up trumps with the winner, however, completing the scoring in an entertaining encounter at Halewood..
Everton U18s: O'Loughlin, Yates, Harrington, Denny, Lees, Yarney, Morris, Kiersey {c}, Lavery, Holland, Broadhead.
Subs: Johnson, Myers, Mellen, Virtanen, Mampala.
