Coleman and Jagielka ruled out of derby

Phil Jagielka and Seamus Coleman will watch on tomorrow evening but have not yet been ruled out of the FA Cup semi-final.
Jagielka has missed the last two games after coming off late in the 1-1 draw at Watford while Coleman had to be withdrawn in the second half of Saturday's game against Southampton.
Roberto Martinez has not ruled either out of Saturday's FA Cup semi-final with Manchester United, however, although both are currently rated as doubtful.
Aaron Lennon, Tom Cleverley and Leighton Baines are all being assessed in training today for their ability to play in the derby while Romelu Lukaku (groin) and Ross Barkley (knee), named as substitutes against the Saints, should be in the matchday squad again.
"Phil Jagielka and Seamus Coleman will definitely be out," Martinez told the media in his press conference today, " but I think it's too early to make a final decision before the weekend.
"[Baines, Cleverley and Lennon] are very, very close and we'll have a better idea [after today's session] whether they will be available for tomorrow.
"James McCarthy is back from suspension so that will be a clear difference from the squad we had at the weekend."
As they did last Saturday, Academy graduates Tom Davies and Callum Connolly could play a part in tomorrow's game, with Martinez saying that his young players are ready "mentally" to participate in the first team.
That was certainly borne out in the two youngsters' respective performances as substitutes against Southampton, something that pleased the boss.
"I thought Tom Davies was very impressive," Martinez said. "I thought Callum Connolly showed his versatility, playing in different positions and having that character of being ready to play in the first team.
"It's not an accident. I think our young players are ready, mentally, to get into the first team and I think it shows the detail of the programmes that these players [have been] working under.
"So I've got no worries whatsoever that if there any minutes that need to be [played] by young players that we are in safe hands."

Funes Mori can fill in for jags and why not throw Connolly in for Seamus? He did great last week against the saints! We all thought that we'd wouldn't cope without Baines at the start of the season but a unknown Galloway stepped in.
United are not the United of old, they are well beatable and we will beat them.

Poor favor, deje Roberto.

Soooo, Phil and Seamus. We need a spin on why we will lose the derby in such a phenomenal way. Could you please be injured so we can pin our disjointed appearance in that? That would be phenomenal and give me an incredible moment.
Después de todo. todo lo que toco se convierte en mierda. Yours truly, Roberto

They maybe carrying minor niggles but the King of bullshit is putting all our eggs in one basket for the weekend.
We have 40 points so won't be relegated, mullering as per usual is on the cards.

Don't play Kone or Deulofeu – they don't need marking. Job done!

I spoke to Lukaku while filling up my car at a petrol station just before the M62, on my way back to Sussex after the Southampton game. Honest, he was at the next pump.
When I told him of our concerns over the derby and the semi, he told me not to worry and that everything will be okay. He also said that he had been rested and will be playing on Wednesday.
My two Grandsons, who had also endured the match, were delighted as they had hoped to see him play. Watching him fill up his car was probably better.

They have both given blood sweat and tears (tears probably now, with the prospect of mising a Semi). We can't complain because these players improved enormously with us and realised their potential.
If they can't improve any further it is not their fault, they were better under Moyes, which goes to show just exactly how bad of a Manager we have!

I don't believe that it was RM's tactical nous that won us the Chelsea game.

As to the game itself I think we are bound to be more than a little downbeat facing the likes of Sturridge and Coutinho and the dangerous Origi who on their day can cause real problems in attack, like most Blues I would rather we lost to them than the OT gang in the semi. Still hoping we come good when we need to. COYB.

They have a European semi final next week. If they start the kicking and trying to do our players, and intimidate them into not challenging physically in case we pick up injuries and players miss the weekend I would hope we give it back to them tenfold.

We should rest players and prioritise the FA Cup.

Let's bring the cup home despite RM not because of him. It will show that we don't care about the game tonight and the league is finished for us.
But for the weekend, let's hope that Everton can bloody well wake up and collectively grow a pair.
