David Prentice writes of the rededicated of the grave of Alec Brady, Everton's first title winner - at Anfield:

Celtic Graves Society and the Everton Heritage Society joined forces to rededicate the grave of a Victorian pioneer who graced both clubs.

Alec Brady was an Everton original.

A Scottish inside forward, he was a member of the first Everton team to win the League Championship in 1891, in the days when Everton played their football at Anfield.

Sunday was a great day standing together with the Celtic Graves Society and the Brady family.

The booklet on Alec's life is available for a ١ donation for the EFC Heritage Society at St Luke's on match days or we can post it out at an extra cost.
