Well done young man. If you can learn as quick as you move, there's not much to worry about. Judging by the size of your feet, you've still got some growing to do.

Harold (#2) I love your insights into our younger players. Obviously you take a great interest in them and follow their progress year on year. As many of us don't have the same opportunity, your views and comments on their abilities and progress are truly treasured. Please tell us more about young Holland and his apparently small feet, coupled with his, apparently quick pace.

Cheers Hugh. Big feet actually, but they don't slow him up. Can play both wings and likes to take people on. Quick, tricky and full of confidence. Not a goalscorer but enjoys creating chances for team-mates. Other TWs will provide you with more detailed info.

Harold, sounds a good prospect! Where did you watch the lad?

England U17s, Brent. Probably on ESPN when they used to show a lot of kids' stuff. Made a few notes. Not always involved, wing and midfield. Came to life and pressed forward when on the ball. He wore 17.
He was also interviewed on the official site. Don't know about him being a good prospect. Time will tell. If he looks to be understanding the Martinez way, he'll be promoted.

Cheers, Harold. I watch the U21s when I can but get annoyed that the EFC website doesn't seem to say where they will play. Turned up once to a game at Southport only to find that it had been switched nothing on the website though I did ask them to consider it.

Yes Brent. Don't know what's happened with the website. There used to be loads of kids stuff but you now need Sherlock Holmes to find it.

Harold, I can almost see you now with your deerstalker on.

I truly detest the new official club site. I much prefer to scroll down for information rather than flicking sideways.

so I'm not the only one who can't find stuff on the current version of the official site.... I hardly ever use it now. It was constructed purely for smart phones and I access it from the pc and it feels completely unnatural and huge, like something for toddlers to press buttons on...
Also, the old version used to have "time to next match" on the home page and it took into account time zone (after I mentioned it to them and they actually corrected it), but this new version has it tucked away somewhere and it is only right for people on the UK time zone... and this bunch never even bothered to respond to my various bug reports about it not taking into account the visitors location, so they lost a visitor....
talking of websites, it's only the middle of January and the TW site already has a Christmas hat on the tower! A bit early isn't it?
