Jags scoops local award

Phil Jagielka was awarded Goal of the Season in the North West Football Awards for his stunning equaliser at Anfield earlier this year.

The club captain's accolade was one of three Everton picked up on the night, with the club also recognised in two other categories.

Everton Ladies’ Gabby George was named ‘Women’s Rising Star of the Year’ and the club's ‘We Are Chosen’ season ticket campaign received acclaim with the award for ‘Best Club Marketing’ campaign.
