Times past but Littlewoods clocks are precious artefacts still

The Echo's David Prentice did some digging to see if he could definitively discern the fate of the famous old Goodison Park clocks that used to grace the Gwladys Street and Park End stands.

I've got the other clock face on a wall in my back garden. Rescued it from a skip at the back of the Springfield Pub on Walton Road and although it has got a big crack, it's one of my prized possessions. I sent an e-mail to Dave Prentice to get the e-mail address of the Everton Historian Keith Wilson who promoted the article in the Echo.

Keith hasn't replied yet but if anyone knows how to get hold of him I would love the opportunity to get the face reunited with other parts of the clock and possibly displayed somewhere prominent.

Martin, if you send an email here you should be able to get hold of Keith Wilson - info@efcheritagesociety.com

Martin, it belongs in a museum...or on a wall inside the Winslow. People would queue up for photos with it.

A mate of mine still has an old McEwans Lager Branded Rangers FC tunnel from the early '90s. Even after a couple of house moves and a crane hire each time, it sits pride of place in his back garden.
