TW's Lyndon Lloyd was a guest on World Soccer Talk Radio previewing the new season and talking about the Blues' prospects in Roberto Martinez's second season in charge.

He chats with host Nate Abaurrea about the Blues' meagre transfer business thus far, the expectation on Ross Barkley's shoulders, the form of Tim Howard and more.

Listening back it seems as though I'd missed Nate's first reference to being a red and only realised he supported the other lot later in the interview, after I'd made reference to their amusing shortfalls!

I've never done an interview that long before – thank God for the Yanks and their commercial breaks! – but I felt it went pretty well and it's important to preach the Blue word as much as possible!
