Honest question:
How many times have you seen Perisic play!
I'm guessing no more than twice.
It's embarrassing. Clubs scout players for 6 months, but a decent 90 minutes in a World Cup and all of a sudden they're the latest 'hot property'.

He took us to the cleaners an looked equally dangerous v the Shite. He’s quick and strong so who knows!
Again like I’ve said with most other players linked with us, let Bobby choose our targets and hope they turn out to do well.

Honest answer Phil is twice, but without proclaiming to be any sort of expert, do believe with his style of play he could fit in well with Everton!
I suppose with every signing there is a risk, after all said and done, even loan players who have played a blinder, can fail after signing. Remember Terry Curran?
Only time will tell, and obviously price too, but I do trust Roberto to make the right choices. In the meantime, we are all entitled to an opinion, and an aspiration to make our beloved club better!

I’d love us to sign Perisic but I can’t see us spending £20m+ on Rom possibly and then £8m on him as well as bringing in 4 or 5 other players, even if 3 or 4 of them could possibly be loan deals, as they still cost as well?!?

Sounds like I'll be having the same conversation with him about Bily if Palace sign him!

It's typical for a player who has one good game against us to be linked and people jump on the bandwagon.
As for Perisic – he's another one who nobody knew anything about (see Enner Valencia) and just because the papers talk him up, all of a sudden he'd really fit in well at Everton. Why? He looks alright, and scored a good goal, but apart from that what does anyone know about him? I don't even know who he plays for without looking him up, and I know everything about football! (that's a joke).
If these players are so good, why are we only suddenly linked with them when there's a World Cup on? Errr......cos they're on the telly!
