Everton are looking at the possibility of taking Atlético Madrid midfielder Josuha Guilavogui on loan, according to the Daily Mail.

The newly-crowned La Liga Champions signed the 23-year-old from St Etienne for £8m a year ago, then loaned him back to the French side for the season and are now thought to be willing to offload him for a reduced fee.

Possible replacement for Barry? Also raises questions about Gibson's long-term injury situation.

Mike, Ricky Lambert. Apparently he is going on to much bigger and better things.

Yes, Mike - David Beckham, Pelé, Roy Keane... and a few others.

Still... only another couple of months to go before we see who exactly will join us...

I haven't seen this lad but he sounds exactly the type to look for. Talented young player whose value has dipped and is in need of an inspiring young manager to boost his confidence and get the best out of him.

Sounds like the French Jack Rodwell. Sign them both, I say.

Re Lambert to Liverpool. Strange one in my opinion as they seemed to be going for quicker forwards but assume he is going there to help them with all the penalties they get every season

Haven't seen this lad play but from what iv'e read, he sounds like the kind of player we need... a 'Wanyama type' who would be perfect alongside McCarthy. Arsenal were strongly linked with him before he joined Athletico Madrid.

Jacque le Roduelle. Is he on our radar?
